Housing Assistance: Offering a variety of housing options customized to individual needs.

Employment Support: Including Supported Employment, Pre-Vocational Services, and Job Coaching.

ILST Life Skills Training: Focused on independent living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and homemaking.

Community Involvement: Promoting engagement in arts, music, and media production programs.

Health and Wellness: Assistance with hygiene, bathing, and specialized healthcare needs.

Advocacy and Support: Active disability advocacy, brain injury support groups, and personalized care plans.

Residential Programs: Tailored residential support for individuals with diverse needs.

Specialized Staffing: Offering private pay brain injury support with highly trained professionals.
Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, special education, or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of principles of person-centered planning and independent living philosophies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation, valid CT driver’s license with minimum 3 years possession (no recent moving violations, DUIs, or suspensions)
- Ability to pass background checks and other required screenings.
- Must meet physical requirements-Able to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs., stand, walk and sit for periods at a time.
- Additional certification, such as ABI ILST Certification (ABI - Acquired Brain Injury ILST - Independent Life Skills Trainer)
