Job Description
Community Living Specialists range of duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing physical assistance as needed to the individual, which may require wheelchair transfers, use of gait belts/adaptive equipment, and partial or full assistance during hygiene/toileting
- Use of PMT (Physical/Psychological Management Training & other learned techniques as needed specific to each individual
- Medication Administration
- Implementing treatment & behavior plans specific to each individual & collecting data/submitting in a timely manner
- Providing positive guidance & encouragement for the individuals we serve
- Providing transportation in a safe & lawful manner
- Maintaining required certification of American Red Cross CPR & 1st Aid, Medication Administration as well as mandated state trainings.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid Drivers License
- The ability to pass a multi-state DMV & criminal history background check (Foley)
- Candidate must be punctual to each shift/training and have strong time management and organizational skills
